We are limited until we find someone of greater experience who can expose us to greater possibilities.

It is not by might, not by power…
We think we can do it by our own power- we can’t , you need Someone Who has greater power.

In the book of Acts, the believers were led by Holy Spirit.
If Jesus had to be in complete submission to the Holy Spirit, are we different?
From the moment we allow Jesus to forgive your sins, make Him Lord and Savior, we have Holy Spirit to guide us. There is a struggle between our soul and spirit. We need the Holy Spirit to know the path.

From “Not by might” hand out
Zec 4:6
(6) Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.

It is not flesh and blood, but principalities and powers that we fight against.

No matter the enemy, if God is for us, who can be against us?

Holy Spirit guides, tells to: go, stop, do this, do that.
It takes a lot of faith to put yourself in the hands of Almighty God all the time.
It is not by might, power, but by God’s Holy Spirit that things will change in your life.

If we are led by God’s Holy Spirit, then we are sons and daughters of God. Are we doing that?

In the last days, we will talk a lot about religion but will deny the power thereof.
It is not acts and faith, but a person that gives us power.

Act 10:38
(38) How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

Jesus was a witness of God the Father. We desire to be sons and daughters of God, but we are not following the leading of the Holy Spirit. We need to rely totally on God’s Holy Spirit for everything in our lives.

We need to do more than just go to Church on Sunday.

Rom 8:14
(14) For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Because we have taken man-made ways to God, we are a disservice to our own souls.
If you were in battle and the commander left the battle, what would you do?
If you continue in your present behavior, you are going nowhere. But if you submit yourself to Holy Spirit, you will find greater power than you ever imagined.

God will move in you.

Have we forgotten in the latter days that the power of God is available? It is only when we say, “Holy Spirit, come. WE WILL SUBMIT”. Only then will the power of God move in a mighty way.

If you need a breakthrough in your life, you need to trust Holy Spirit will do it for you. Paul trusted in Holy Spirit to lead him where to go. He trusted that we are saved by grace and not by works.

Philip and Steven were servers and they did great miracles.

Act 10:19-20
(19) While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee.
(20) Arise therefore, and get thee down, and go with them, doubting nothing: for I have sent them.

Rom 8:1-2
(1) There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
(2) For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

We need to go beyond our meager thinking. We need to ask, listen.

What is it that holds you back from relying totally on the gift of the Holy Spirit?
Becoming a Christian is a great thing. He gives us power to overcome.

Psa 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Do you believe that? Do you believe that God is with you?

When you are told by Holy Spirit to speak and you fear that you are going to fall on your face without the ability speak, you are trusting in yourself instead of God to do the work.

Learn to be led by Holy Spirit on a daily basis, then when the time comes for larger situations, you will be ready for the bigger stuff.
We have the ability with the Holy Spirit to do major signs and wonders. Start your day by saying, “Holy Spirit, fill me, lead me, guide me, let me know if it is your Holy Spirit or not.”

Getting to flow with the Holy Spirit is like starting a new job. It takes awhile to flow with the coworkers.

Jesus said if I cast out demons by the Holy Spirit, then the Kingdom of God has come.
It is time the Church does wonders again.

In the book of Acts it says a fear came upon the people. It is time that the fear comes again.

We are the only Light, the only salt the earth has.
Let Holy Spirit lead you every day. Work with Him as you would a new boss. Do what He wants you to do.

Live a life surrendered to His Holy Spirit. Trusting Him. There will be bumps, trip ups, mistakes

When you get up in the morning, dedicate yourself in this way:

1. I do what You do, Lord.
2. I say what You say. (not just a good idea, what I think is right. If He doesn’t say anything, you say nothing.)
3. I pray what you pray. (We like to pray out of fear and not out of faith).
4. I go where you lead me.

Joh 4:34
(34) Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
Joh 12:49-50
(49) For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
(50) And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.

1Jn 5:14-15
(14) And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
(15) And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

Matt 4:1
(1) Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.
God has to take you through stuff so you know your weakness and strength

Rom 8:14
(14) For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

John G Lake said “How can a man be filled with the Holy Spirit and disease live in the same body”

To be led by Holy Spirit, it is like a new Job. Each person has been assigned by God, preordained for good works. We are challenged by Holy Spirit to remove the chains that hold us back, no matter how young we are, how old we are, how many times we mess up…

Spirit of God, empower me so that I may be a witness of the Kingdom of God, so that you may use me every day. I surrender to you.
Know that God says, “Touch not My anointed”.

God works on something beyond logic, the physical realm.
How can Jesus walk on water, raise people from the dead, Himself from the dead? It’s not logical.
God formed the earth from nothing.
We can no longer be conformed to this world. We need to be led by Holy Spirit.
Jesus was led (meaning bound and led) by Holy Spirit to the desert. Not logical.
We need to give Holy Spirit our hand in order to be led.
We made Jesus Christ Lord- which means Master. Have you made Him your Master? Sometimes God will make us do things that don’t make sense- not logical- in following Holy Spirit.
Sometimes the Lord will tell you to do things or not to do things- sometimes God will tell you to stay away or shut up. Then He can do a miracle.
Sometimes He will tell us to give mercy when they don’t deserve it. Not logical but God’s will.
It is not by might. It is not by power. Everything is done by the Spirit of God.
His Spirit formed the earth, breathed upon the waters, breathed upon Mary to bring forth His Son to die for the salvation of the world.
Zec 4:6
(6) Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.
Mat 4:1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

Our founder lived among us, tempted in every way. Jesus is an expression of God the Father’s love for us, not only because He died for our sins, but because when we go before Him He can identify with our pains, struggles. He is always there.

Jesus was raised on the first day of the week- a glorious day!

It was prophesied in the OT, even as Jesus mentioned a parallel with Jonah 3 days and nights in the fish.

The resurrection was so powerful that the soldiers ran in fear

Joh 11:25-26
(25) Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
(26) And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

God made man out of the dust of the earth, walked with man in the cool of the day, intimacy. As He walked with them the relationship between God and man increased in intimacy. He gave all the trees in the garden, but the tree of knowledge “you won’t eat or you will die.” -a way of acknowledging God’s sovereignty. When they ate, something was deadly different. When they sinned they hid from God. When we sinned we do the same. When they hid in the garden, God knew something died. They could not continue in that relationship because they knew what ego was, loving self more than God. The affection and love that He used to have with mankind was now being pulled apart by something else.

When Jesus died, He substituted – took man’s sin and died for us. Jesus died so that we could go boldly before the Father and say “Daddy.” He listens. God made us temples for His intimacy with Him… He is always waiting for that intimate presence and time with you. He substituted His life so that we can live forever with Him.

When He said “I am the way, truth, and life”, He meant it.
It is the substitution of LIFE, eternal LIFE.

The earth needed to experience this thunder and explosion that we are ALIVE in CHRIST JESUS!

Even though we were sinners, God the Father sent His Son for you and me.

Jesus came to give a message from the Father that says, “No matter how you came, what sins you’ve done, I love you.”

The PRESENCE OF THE LORD is ALWAYS THERE! It is we who withdraw. Go into His Presence daily. No matter what happens, He is there and will not withdraw.

Mat 27:50-66
(50) Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.
(51) And, behold, the veil of the temple (six inches of leather- representing death- in order to go beyond the veil) was rent in twain from the top to the bottom (from heaven to earth); and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
(52) And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
(53) And came out of the graves after his resurrection (the life giving power that raised Jesus not only raised Him, but those who were nearby), and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.
(54) Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God. (imagine the fear upon soldiers who knew no fear)
(55) And many women were there beholding afar off, which followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering unto him:
(56) Among which was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of Zebedee's children.
(57) When the even was come, there came a rich man of Arimathaea, named Joseph, who also himself was Jesus' disciple:
(58) He went to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be delivered.
(59) And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth,
(60) And laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock( the great stone round rocks carved, rolled into the dip in the ground)
: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulchre, and departed (because it was the Sabbath).
(61) And there was Mary Magdalene, and the other Mary, sitting over against the sepulchre(the sepulchre was actually carved into the rock).
(62) Now the next day, that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees (the religious) came together unto Pilate,
(63) Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again.
(64) Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first.
(65) Pilate said unto them, Ye have a watch: go your way, make it as sure as ye can.
(66) So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone, and setting a watch. (so that if the seal was broken it would indicate someone had tampered with the stone)

Mat 28:1-8
(1) In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.
(2) And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.
(3) His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:
(4) And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.
(5) And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.
(6) He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
(7) And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.
(8) And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.

Without Jesus death and resurrection there is no substitution.
Now we have new life, that cannot be taken away.

The resurrection is the sure thing that our faith is put on. No other religion has the answer to sin.

It is the full structure by which everything is built. Everything is built upon this one pillar- that Jesus was truly the Son of God, He died for our sins, He rose from the dead, and gives us eternal life forever.

It is the whole building called the Body of Christ.

Jesus the way, truth, life
Power of Life
Establishing covenant with us
Faith is anchored
New life and Hope in Him

God created something that man could never overestimate.

1Co 15:2-58
(52) In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
(53) For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
(54) So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
(55) O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
(56) The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
(57) But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
(58) Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

1Co 15:18-23
(18) Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.
(19) If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
(20) But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
(21) For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
(22) For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
(23) But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.

Php 3:8-12
(8) Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
(9) And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
(10) That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings (all the benefits He attained from His death), being made conformable unto his death;
(11) If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
(12) Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus (as He takes me by the hand to Himself).

Palm Sunday proves that the Word of God is real. The Bible continually proves itself.

Man created Palm Sunday- the liturgical Church selected it.

Declare this day so that it signifies our choice, our participation into what Jesus has done for us. It is our declaration of Who Jesus is and we accept His

Jesus was 3 days in the grave- risen on the 3rd day-

Glorious entry- on the 10th day of the Jewish month. On the fourteenth day they were to kill the Passover lamb. Friday evening was the glorious entry- just before the Sabbath (Saturday)

Zec 9:9

(9) Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.

Rejoice greatly- don’t feel sad, rejoice O daughters;

Today is the beginning of Saturday night appreciation.

Scripture encounter

Mat 21:3-11

(3) And if any man say ought unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them.

(4) All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying,

(5) Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.

(6) And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them,

(7) And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes (blanket like garment), and they set him thereon.

(8) And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way.

(9) And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.

(10) And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?

(11) And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.

Coming in on an ass in those days was like coming in on a limousine.

He told the man that the Lord had need of them.

And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them,

Mar 11:8-10

(8) And many spread their garments in the way: and others cut down branches off the trees, and strawed them in the way.

(9) And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord:

(10) Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that cometh in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest.

They declared and acknowleged that Jesus was the earthly King (son of David)- made Him King of Israel

Also the King of Heaven (Lord)

King of Kings (of all the earth and of all of heaven)

Hosanna means God save us. Not only did they say, “You are our King, but You are our Savior”.

God wanted mankind to participate, freely, choosing, “ You chose Him. You declared Him. You acknowleged Him of King of Heaven and earth.”

He recognized before Jesus came that He was the only One Who could save.

Each person at a moment in our lives will find this kind of encounter, that Jesus is not a free lunch, a handout. He is a true Savior, a true King, a true Messiah.

Meek- humbled, able to be bent or shaped, to be Who He really is

Jesus came in to Jerusalem saying, “I am the King of heaven and earth. I am that Savior.”

Branches-

Palms were used for the feast of Tabernacles- covering the top with the palms, so that they could see through to the stars and remember that it was God Who made them

Palm Symbol-

Beauty, stature-had dates on them (squeezed them and it was the honey)

Righteous man

Used for triumph- banners

Celebration

To Assyrians and Egyptians the palm represented the Tree of Life (Israel came out of Egypt)

Beauty

Song 7:6-7

(6) How fair and how pleasant art thou, O love, for delights!

(7) This thy stature is like to a palm tree, and thy breasts to clusters of grapes. (palm tree)

Rigteousness

Psa 92:12-15

(12) The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

(13) Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.

(14) They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;

(15) To shew that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.

Celebration

Lev 23:39-41

(39) Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath.

(40) And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God seven days.

(41) And ye shall keep it a feast unto the LORD seven days in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month.

Triumph and Power

Rev 7:9-10

(9) After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

(10) And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

Palm Sunday is not Palm Sunday- it is a declaration of Who God is.

The declaration is using the Palm-

The triumphal entry is Friday- Jesus died on Wed- and rose on Saturday.

Joh 12:12-15

(12) On the next day much people that were come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,

(13) Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord.

(14) And Jesus, when he had found a young ass, sat thereon; as it is written,

(15) Fear not, daughter of Sion: behold, thy King cometh, sitting on an ass's colt.

Fear not.

Our enemy is not the Roman Empire, but all the darkness that is overcoming the earth.

Behold your King comes. He will come for all of us and will destroy all the works of darkness.

Joh 12:16

(16) These things understood not his disciples at the first: but when Jesus was glorified, then remembered they that these things were written of him, and that they had done these things unto him.

Rev 5:1-14

(1) And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.

(2) And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?

(3) And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.

(4) And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.

(5) And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David (King of Israel), hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

(6) And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

(7) And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.

(8) And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. (meaning you can participate in that)

(9) And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

(10) And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

(11) And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;

(12) Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb (said it with palms- they chose Jesus) that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.

(13) And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.

(14) And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.

Jesus has the power of Life.

Just before the celebration, Jesus rose Lazarus from the dead. Jesus said that He had to wait until the death of Lazarus so that He could show that He had the power of Life.

Jesus had to wait- set up the situation- He prophetically knew the path He had to take. He had to be Messiah- the One Who had the power of Life in His hands.

Jesus has just raised Lazarus to show that He is the Way, the Resurrection, and the Life.

Rejoice, daughter of Zion, death has no sting.

Joh 12:9-14

(9) Much people of the Jews therefore knew that he was there: and they came not for Jesus' sake only, but that they might see Lazarus also, whom he had raised from the dead.

(10) But the chief priests consulted that they might put Lazarus also to death;

(11) Because that by reason of him many of the Jews went away, and believed on Jesus.

(16) These things understood not his disciples at the first: but when Jesus was glorified, then remembered they that these things were written of him, and that they had done these things unto him.

(17) The people therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out of his grave, and raised him from the dead, bare record.

(18) For this cause the people also met him, for that they heard that he had done this miracle.

Note: The Triumphal entry was just after Jesus had raised Lazarus from the dead, the next demonstration Jesus, the One Who is Life, was the resurrection of Easter ( Resurrection Day).

Joh 11:21-27

(21) Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.

(22) But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee.

(23) Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.

(24) Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.

(25) Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

(26) And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

(27) She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.

Joh 11:32-40

(32) Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.

(33) When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled,

(34) And said, Where have ye laid him? They said unto him, Lord, come and see.

(35) Jesus wept.

(36) Then said the Jews, Behold how he loved him!

(37) And some of them said, Could not this man, which opened the eyes of the blind, have caused that even this man should not have died?

(38) Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it.

(39) Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days.

(40) Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?

That we may know Him and the power of His rising

Note: If we believe, we will see the Glory of God

Joh 14:6

(6) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

The people had chosen the Lamb to be the sacrificial Lamb.

The Paschal Lamb of Sacrifice

Jesus entered Jerusalem on the day they would choose the Passover lamb by Jewish Law.

As Jesus entered the city

Exo 12:1-51

(1) And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,

(2) This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.

(3) Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:

(4) And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb.

(5) Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats:

(6) And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening.

(7) And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.

(8) And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.

(9) Eat not of it raw, nor sodden at all with water, but roast with fire; his head with his legs, and with the purtenance thereof.

(10) And ye shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; and that which remaineth of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire.

(11) And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the LORD'S passover.

(12) For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD.

(13) And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.

(14) And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.

(15) Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.

(16) And in the first day there shall be an holy convocation, and in the seventh day there shall be an holy convocation to you; no manner of work shall be done in them, save that which every man must eat, that only may be done of you.

(17) And ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day in your generations by an ordinance for ever.

(18) In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at even, ye shall eat unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of the month at even.

(19) Seven days shall there be no leaven found in your houses: for whosoever eateth that which is leavened, even that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a stranger, or born in the land.

(20) Ye shall eat nothing leavened; in all your habitations shall ye eat unleavened bread.

(21) Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the passover.

(22) And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the bason; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning.

(23) For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.

(24) And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons for ever.

(25) And it shall come to pass, when ye be come to the land which the LORD will give you, according as he hath promised, that ye shall keep this service.

(26) And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say unto you, What mean ye by this service?

(27) That ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the LORD'S passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped.

(28) And the children of Israel went away, and did as the LORD had commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.

(29) And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.

(30) And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead.

(31) And he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, and get you forth from among my people, both ye and the children of Israel; and go, serve the LORD, as ye have said.

(32) Also take your flocks and your herds, as ye have said, and be gone; and bless me also.

(33) And the Egyptians were urgent upon the people, that they might send them out of the land in haste; for they said, We be all dead men.

(34) And the people took their dough before it was leavened, their kneadingtroughs being bound up in their clothes upon their shoulders.

(35) And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment:

(36) And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians.

(37) And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot that were men, beside children.

(38) And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much cattle.

(39) And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought forth out of Egypt, for it was not leavened; because they were thrust out of Egypt, and could not tarry, neither had they prepared for themselves any victual.

(40) Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years.

(41) And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt.

(42) It is a night to be much observed unto the LORD for bringing them out from the land of Egypt: this is that night of the LORD to be observed of all the children of Israel in their generations.

(43) And the LORD said unto Moses and Aaron, This is the ordinance of the passover: There shall no stranger eat thereof:

(44) But every man's servant that is bought for money, when thou hast circumcised him, then shall he eat thereof.

(45) A foreigner and an hired servant shall not eat thereof.

(46) In one house shall it be eaten; thou shalt not carry forth ought of the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall ye break a bone thereof.

(47) All the congregation of Israel shall keep it.

(48) And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.

(49) One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.

(50) Thus did all the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.

(51) And it came to pass the selfsame day, that the LORD did bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their armies.

Ex 12:3-6

Our Hope in God

1Pe 1:18-21

(18) Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;

(19) But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

(20) Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

(21) Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

God sent His Son just for you personally. He has forgiven your sins, continually forgiven your sins. He is not out to condemn you, but to forgive you.

We miss out on Jesus because we don’t allow Him to minister to us.

Jesus washed us by His Blood.

Rev 3:14-19
(14) And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
(15) I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
(16) So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
(17) Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
(18) I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
(19) As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

God wants us hot or cold because “If you are cold I will leave you alone, If you are hot I will do something with you.”

We are wretched,
miserable,
poor (you are poor spiritually),
blind (blind leading the blind- He has set you free from the old nature),
naked (spiritually naked).

Is your faith hot? Are you bold before the Lord?

I counsel thee to buy of me (the market place- I have a market of things)
gold (glory) tried in the fire (purified, transparent gold)

and white raiment (soul needs something to encase it in)

anoint thine eyes with eyesalve , that thou mayest see (exactly how we are)

I rebuke (to teach) and chasten (be correct): be zealous (jealous for those things) therefore, and repent.

(20) Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Is anyone asking Him to come in? If you invite Him in, you will have an intimate relationship.

(21) To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. (authority and power so that we can move in the Kingdom and destroy the work of the enemy)

Most of the time we try to do things by ourselves. This is where we make a mistake. He wants to draw us into a relationship with Him.

Ergo- means works- God gets annoyed because we are trying to do it in our own works. We can’t wash ourselves, guide ourselves. We are just going to make ourselves exhausted, frustrated, tired because we aren’t going anywhere. We need to humble ourselves in the sight of the Lord and confess “I can’t do it in my own effort. I am a mess.”
Then the dynamos power of God comes and does it for you.

Every time we try to do things religiously we fall flat on our face and then blame God. We can’t do it on our own. We do not have it within ourselves to meet the need. We need dynamos power. The Lord has to work.

Dynamos- explosive power, God alone has it. We must not do it on our own.

MOST OF THE TIME THAT WE DO NOT FIND SUCCESS IS BECAUSE WE TRIED TO DO IT ON OUR OWN POWER.

DO YOU AVAIL YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE, WISDOM, POWER AND WHATEVER IS NECESSARY? ARE YOU DOING IT ON YOUR OWN OR ALLOWING GOD TO DO IT WITH YOU?

Wait and pray and be endued with power.
Sometimes we don’t know what to say or do. We need to ask God.

1. God wants to wash you
2. He wants to correct and teach you
3. Let Me be the eternal Kingdom energy (power) behind you

Not By Might

Zec 4:6
(6) Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.

Joshua, Gideon, and David thought that they would lose their battles. They needed God.
It will take a spiritual witness to wake up a world who thinks they will do it on their own.

We are like Zerubbabel – we need to get it into our head and heart, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.

It is not by might. By My Spirit.

GOD DOES NOT CHANGE!

It is not by my might. Not by my power. Let Your Spirit in Lord!
Everything comes from the eternal Kingdom. There is nothing on this earth. Even the life and the energy that you need to go to work with does not come from here. God is that life

Jesus alone gives that life. All you need to do is ask, open the door and say, “Come in!”

Mat 4:1
(1) Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

Luk 4:1
(1) And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,

Mat 12:28
(28) But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.

Act 10:38
(38) How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

Jesus depended on the leading of the Holy Spirit. God was with Him.

You don’t need to have the ability. You need to have Him. God does it. Not you.

God never changes. What He did before, He will do now. It just takes a special group of people who believe and allow Him to do the work.

There is lack of fervency for Jesus. We are not hot or cold. We need to bless the Almighty instead of coming to be blessed. In the same way that you want to bless your lover, you need to find the way to bless God.

We need to be hot for God. It is something you have to do on purpose.

God wants you to want Him.
We need to desire Him more than anything in the world.

“DON’T FOOL WITH ME!”, God says.
You don’t even say hello in the morning.

God is looking for real righteousness, not those with a superficial air about him.

Rev 3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
________________
Rev. 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

God as a Master Carver:
When carving, you need to look at what you are carving, not just what you think you see.
It takes a desire to want to carve like the Master.
A good teacher is not going to be afraid to make sure you do it right.

You need the Master to teach you.

Rebuke and chastening is important.

The only way to allow the Master to touch you is for you to open the door.
You need a Master teacher and a Friend.

When we allow the Master to touch our lives, we have no idea how many lives we will affect and touch.
God is into healing broken people.
He wants to make us vessels that He can use.
We can’t be vessels unless we are healed ourselves.

Jesus is our friend and teacher. If He is going to do that, we need to allow Him to rebuke us.

Rev 3:19
19 Those whom I [dearly and tenderly] love, I tell their faults and convict and convince and reprove and chasten [I discipline and instruct them]. So be enthusiastic and in earnest and burning with zeal and repent [changing your mind and attitude]. [Prov 3:12.] AMP

God chastens out of love. He chastens those He loves, not those He is angry with. God loves you. He chastens from love.

Pro 3:11-12
(11) My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction:
(12) For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.

Can you imagine that God delights in you? Why don’t you give God a chance to change around the pitiful state you think you are in and turn you into that which He can use with great value.

Gal 4:1-2
(1) Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;
(2) But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.

Until we get to the place where we can rule in the Kingdom , we need teachers.

When we let God in, He moves.

We need to go to Daddy all the time (Abba).

God loves us to no end without anger. He will polish you, heal the things of the past, the addictions, the wrong thinking.

If we allow Him, we will no longer remain a child or immature.

It is time we take the responsibility- let God be God in your life, to heal you, teach you, polish you.

Rebuke- An act or expression of criticism and censure
Disapproval expressed by pointing out faults or shortcomings

If you want to be a portrait artist, you don’t want it to look like someone else. If you want to be a Christian, you want to look like Christ.

Heb 12:5-8
5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:
6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
KJV

Rebuke –
to be right (i.e. correct)

Chasten-
to instruct, reform

The prodigal son receives instruction with the signet ring. God wants to use us as ambassadors- as it is in heaven, so let it be on earth.
He gives us the mantle.

Be zealous- Be jealous, sought for
We need to be zealous for God’s rebuke and chastening so we can repent- change.

When we have zeal… when we want it so bad… repenting is easy. Allow God to do something. Suffering comes when you won’t let go.

It takes zeal to be a master, to master anything in this life.

Let the Lord teach you, instruct you, perfect you. Ask the Lord every day.

*********************************************
When Jesus was about to die, He donned an apron and began to wash the disciple’s feet.

Unless you allow Jesus to wash you, you have no part in Him.

It has to be Jesus Who washes you- surrendered, submissive state, allowing the Lord to wash you with water and the Blood.

There are too many Christian casualties because no one has told the newborn that God has covered their sins.

It is the God of peace Himself that sanctifies us.

He is the One Who teaches us to battle.

“Let me sanctify and cleanse you, heal you.”

God did not send His Son to condemn the world but to heal us.

From this very moment the Lord wants to heal you and make you strong. It is time that we stop blaming everyone. We just need to go before the Lord daily and allow Him to cleanse us of our iniquities (injustices).

He allows us to go through trials and all of a sudden you develop muscle. The more you can handle, the more you have to handle. It will increase the muscle and strength of what you are able to handle.

Are we able to be witnesses of Jesus Christ if we cannot lift the simplest trials?

“If you want to be part of Me, let Me wash you.” says Jesus.

Some people desire an encounter. It will take you to be present for the encounter.

Ask youself, “Are you willing to ask Jesus to wash not only your feet, hands, head, total surrender?”

Say to the Lord, “Wash me- not only my feet, but my hands and head, because there is so much in my life needing to be washed. You know how to heal me. There is nothing I can do to change my behaviors unless you wash me.
The end times are coming. Our hearts must be strong. In the last days, men’s hearts will fail them for fear. Fear is because we don’t have faith in God.

We need Jesus. We need to be touched by the Lord daily until we experience His feel, His touch, His voice.

Let God start by washing you. Stop doing. Sit at Jesus’ feet.

Mary had chosen the best part, sitting down and allowing God to wash her with His Word.

Until you sit down and surrender to Him, you will not have that intimacy.

When people got down on their knees, allowing the Holy Spirit to minister to them, then the revival came.

READ THIS SCRIPTURE OFTEN:

Rev 3:15-22
(20) Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
(21) To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
(22) He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Are you lukewarm in your Christian walk? Lukewarm is not hot.

The Kingdom of God is an exact center. It does not go to the left nor right.

If we are going to be hot we need to be focused. We are not focused. We are blurry. Our senses are dulled. Do you want your spiritual life out of focus?

“I am a Christian. Leave me alone.” The Lord would like to use you. He would rather you be cold or hot.

“My meat is to do the Father’s will.” That is what God wants.

It is a choice if we will be hot for God.

(17) Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

wretched: in the state of being through a trial.

Miserable
Poor
Blind- unable to see your state; we cannot afford to be blind, have blind leaders
Be honest. Lukewarm is not hot enough. God needs to know you are either one or the other.

(18) I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

Gold is righteousness – righteousness brings about glory. It is not just any gold, it is purged in the fire. Buy- go to the place of market with Me. Come without price. Jesus paid the price. You have to go to the market to get it. Not just any gold. Go to God for His righteousness. Not just religious righteousness.

Buy it on Jesus’ account.

White raiments- What houses your soul? You need something to cover your soul. You need the Word of God to cover your soul- without it you are naked.

Our souls are so delicate. One word, one thought, causes you to be paralyzed with fear.

You are blind to your state of being- you need to come to see Me so that you can discern your life.

(20) Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

He is knocking at the door. Always. We are not open. Are we shutting the door of Christ? Am I shutting the door on Christ by my belief in whatever system I have? He wants to come in, eat with me, be with me.

The day you got born again, you opened the door. Then you shut it again, by just going to church, reading books, doing rituals.

If we know that Jesus is knocking on the door to come in, we will do what we can to keep our house clean. How can we have an intimate relationship if our house is filthy?

If we buy from the Lord the things that we talk about then our house is a sanctuary.

He wants to have intimate relationship with you. To eat with Him is intimacy, not to condemn.

The Lord wants to have a friendly visit. Daily. He is a foot washer. If He can clean feet, He can clean everything in my soul.

Everything else you have done is all works. All He wants to do is sit in your presence and you with Him. we need a special encounter, intimate relationship, with Him Who is setting us apart for Him.

(21) To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

Rev 6:2-11
(2) And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
(3) And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.
(4) And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
(5) And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
(6) And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
(7) And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.
(8) And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
(9) And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
(10) And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
(11) And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

Our faith needs to be built up. Not just the faith that believes for cars and things, but the faith that will stand. We will have blessings, but we need to be prepared.

Those who overcome will sit with Him and rule.

We need to be strong, have courage, not be afraid, not be dismayed, We need to overcome.

If the Church would wake up, our Lord would not have to come soon to prevent the elect from being deceived.

We must not let our souls have their own way, but do it God’s way. The end shows how we will glorify God.
------------------------

We need to see from scripture how God has worked. The Lord prepared the Israelites before they went out… they did not know they would be in the desert for 40 years. Somehow God has taken us through in the past and He will take us through now.

God wants us to remember that He is always there. God’s love for you is so immense that nothing will take you away from His love. He is not out to condemn us, but to save us.
God will never forsake us.

God prepared the people all the time, reminding them that He is with them all the time.
Israelites called the molten calf Yaweh Baal- merging God’s name with the idol.

God is interested in our righteousness.

God is a supplier of our needs according to His riches in glory. The only time we lose it is when we give our soul up to the devil and forget that God is with us and goes before us.

Joh 13:5-17
(5) After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded.
(6) Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet?
(7) Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter.

When we look to the cross we see that the Blood of Christ washes away our sins. The washing was absolutely necessary. The Lord prepared his disciples so they would be ready for the cross.

Compare the questions today, “Do I really need Jesus? Do I need to have Him wash away my sins?'

Would you be like Peter before Jesus and say, in essence, “I am not going to let you see my
dirt?"

Jesus never put Peter down, saying “You are so dirty. Why did you come before me with filthy feet?”

Are you dirty too? “Pastor, I keep working on this sin and it gets worse.”

Will you allow Jesus to wash your feet right now?

If 5 hours from now your feet are dirty, He is there still. He will wash again, not just with water, but with detergent , cleaning the bacteria and the very core of your being. To give a chance to heal, be clean, be refreshed.

(8) Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me.

1Th 5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Peter did not understand that the washing of his feet wash necessary. Jesus says to us unless I wash thee not, thou hast no part in me.

We need continual washing spiritually daily. Do we confess our sins daily? Each day ask Him to wash us.

(9) Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head.
(10) Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet,
but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, but not all.
Clean because they were with Jesus

(11) For he knew who should betray him; therefore said he, Ye are not all clean.

Sometimes our lives are not commited to doing the Lord’s will, but our own. Doing our own things in the Lord’s name. Judas was willing to betray the Lord and make things happen the way he thought it should be.

(12) So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you?
(13) Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.
(14) If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet.
(15) For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.
(16) Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.
(17) If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.

How can you neglect so many living souls out there that need the Blood of Jesus Christ?
Are we washing feet? Doing the work of healing? Bringing inner healing to the people? Washing the memories… Jesus so loves us. Jesus loves you personally. He wants to cleanse you. He wants to heal you.

“But you don’t know me. I am a mess.”

Praise the LORD! He is there for you now. Jesus came to heal and deliver you.

We can go boldly before the throne room of God. We let Him wash our feet.

Bring your past memories before the Lord, allow the Holy Spirit to heal you. Forgive the past and those who have hurt you. Allow your past to be healed by the Blood of Jesus.

Prophecy:
God has a plan and a purpose for everyday, whether you know it or not. He has a plan and a purpose for everyday that you go through, whether you know it or not.

Be not discouraged or afraid because God is always there.
It is not of God if you were told that you have messed up too much.

Why are we to prepare for war? We have an enemy and we have to learn to fight.

In the end of the book, Revelation, God wins. The question is “Will you win?” God gave us the grace to be saved. It is a gift. Since we are born again, He has given us the ability and power to line up with the Kingdom of God.

It is up to us to overcome. No one will do it for you. You must do it for yourself.

When He spoke to the 7 Churches, He said “You did well here, but did you do this….?”

Rev 2:7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

You have ears but are you willing to listen, pay attention?

Rev 2:11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

Rev 2:17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

Rev 2:26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
(we have something at the end of the world that is greater than we know now)

Rev 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

Rev 3:12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

Rev 3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

Rev 21:6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
Rev 21:7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
Rev 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

If we live like hell, we will be treated like hell. We can’t fool with God.

We can’t just go around and say we that we are saved. When Jesus Christ redeemed you, you belong to Him. God created you with a purpose and plan and He expects you to overcome and do battle.

God is going to teach you how to stand up for your soul and the soul of others.

How we overcome

Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

It is the Blood of the Lamb that overcame sin and death. There is no power in the universe that can overcome you. Jesus has helped you overcome by His Blood and by the Word of our testimony.

What kind of testimony do you have?

Add all the days, weeks, years, that you have been saved- what is the percentage of that time that you have gloried God and what is the percentage of that which you have glorified the devil?

God has a greater plan. When He says that they overcame by the blood of the Lamb and their testimony- the warfare is for us and the souls of others.

God gave us the power to overcome, to liberate:
- ourselves
- others

We are to continue what the cross has started in our home, our neighborhood, and to the uttermost parts of the world

Are we liberating people or are they still in bondage to the devil? Are we doing everything possible to free souls? God wants us to be soldiers, over-comers.

If we go before the Lord with power and ability to liberate others and we haven’t done that, what will we say?

We will go through an exodus in the next few weeks- He will teach us how to be warriors.
God wants us to restore- bring forth the Kingdom. People are drowning, dying. We need to restore others (consider Haiti- it is a mirror of what the world looks like).

We are chosen for this time and place to be soldiers, to liberate, restore, to pray for healing and restoration with power.

Is that part of my testimony? Sometimes healing is to listen to someone with a broken heart.

There are no accidents.

We are called:
To protect- not just ourselves. We are to protect the weak.
To defend- defend the helpless, i.e. those we have judged, aborted babies, those caught In sin
To establish the Kingdom- not the kingdom of darkness, to bring in His righteousness- live lives of righteousness
To are to represent or be ambassadors of men to God- Are we reconciling men to God? Do we say what the Kingdom says?
To bring the rule and reign of Jesus with Jesus - in the area of the works of the devil.
In the end, God sends His Son on a white steed with His army. Are you going to be an overcomer?

Limitless ability in Christ:
Php 4:12-13
(12) I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
(13) I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

2Co 3:4-5
(4) And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward:
(5) Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;

1Co 9:24-27
(24) Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.
(25) And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
(26) I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:
(27) But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.
(unless I be one who has no testimony)

2Th 2:3-5
(3) Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
(4) Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
(5) Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

Doer of God’s Word
Do we conform to God’s Word?
We are to have extreme powerful lives that will give a testimony
It takes a warrior’s heart to take the perseverance- the worst part is to see your own sin, knowing that your lover wants a Bride without spot or wrinkle. It will take an over-comer. If not, you won’t have Jesus as the Lover of my soul. When we come to the Lord, we need to make Him Lord, following His guidance and direction in our lives.
