When David said “God help”, he knew He would.

Dan 11:32
The people who know their God shall prove themselves strong, and stand firm, and do exploits.

We need an intimate relationship with God so that we can prove ourselves strong, and stand firm, and do exploits.
There are difficulties that will happen to us that we ask “Why?”. Perhaps it is so that God will see if we will stand firm.

DO YOU KNOW GOD TO THE POINT WHERE YOU WILL STAND STRONG? PROVE YOURSELF (FACE THE TRIALS)?

Jesus reached out and went to the possessed to deliver them. He did not stand apart and send the naked, the demon possessed away.
Jesus went out of His way to minister to the unlovely, not to separate Himself.

In the story of the Samaritan, the priests and Levites went out of their way to avoid him.

Do you know Who GOD is? If only you really knew Him, His Love…!!!
In Ecclesiastes, it says books will get you weary , the most important thing is to know (fear) God and follow His commandments.

Ecc 12:12 And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh.
Ecc 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

We all need God all the time. We may find ourselves in a position that we have never been in before, but we must know that God has a purpose and we must trust Him in it.

The 3 men in the fire met Jesus. You may be in the fire, but to meet Jesus you must be willing not to bow.

Do not walk by sight, but by faith.

Jesus is in our heart, not outside ourselves. It is important to know Him.

Psa 18:2 The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

David says this often.

The LORD is my rock- A ground of CONFIDENCE, David placed all his confidence on the Lord. Even though he had an opportunity to kill Saul, he didn’t because he had his confidence in God. Many times we have the opportunity to take things in our own hands, but rather than act in the flesh we need to have confidence in God. Times when people do evil to us, the answer is having confidence in Him.

David speaks of a ground of CONFIDENCE that canno be shaken. It is security, a boulder, bedrock.

Deu 32:3-4
(3) Because I will publish the name of the LORD: ascribe ye greatness unto our God.
(4) He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.

Mat 16:15-18
(15) He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
(16) And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
(17) And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
(18) And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

God did not build His Church on a man, but that God would build it on the Christ, the One Who died for us.

The foundation of true Christianity has not been shaken no matter how the world has tried to crush it.

We need to build upon the ROCK.
Build upon His Word- it is unshakeable. Instead we build upon the things we see in the world, according to our own logic.

Mat 17:24-27
(24) And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute?
(25) He saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers?
(26) Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free.
(27) Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.

You may have to go through some extreme tragedy or suffering. Are you going to fall? If you build upon the Rock, you won’t.

Ask yourself: How have you built your house lately? Have you built it on His Word or your own thinking? The way to find out is how you weather the storms. We continue to go from one storm to the other, and we continue to rebuild the house on the wrong foundation. The devil has people so fearful, he does not even have to say anything and they fear.

We can build a house on a foundation of bedrock. Instead of staying with the Word of God when storms come, we run to something less sturdy.
Meditate on the Word instead of what we look at. It does not mean that God will remove things that curse us. Sometimes it means that God will see it through.

Luk 6:47 Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:
Luk 6:48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.
Luk 6:49 But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.

You need to make a choice. If you are going to know God, you have to know His Word because His essence and His Word are the same.
God is a Spirit. We will not understand Him from a carnal point of view. He wants to know if we will be faithful to Him no matter what.

If you are going to go through the days of tribulation, will you have built your house on a foundation that will not be shaken?

Jesus talks about the situation when He mentions the virgins:

Mat 25:1-13
(1) Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
(2) And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
(3) They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
(4) But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
(5) While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
(6) And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
(7) Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
(8) And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
(9) But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
(10) And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
(11) Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
(12) But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
(13) Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

Lay everything aside knowing that one day you are going to need it- the firm foundation.

Is your life going to be built on the trust of God? You have no idea of the tomorrow, next year. etc.

If you can really say “GOD IS MY ROCK”, you are unshakeable. All things are possible with God.
You need to base your life on the unshakeable God, He won’t ever leave you.

The LORD is my fortress
From the word meaning strong and to make strong
Paul said “In my weakness, You are made strong”.
Fortress- a stronghold that one cannot be intimidated, disheartened,

Read all of Ps 91

Psa 91:1-16
(1) He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
(2) I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
(3) Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
(4) He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
(5) Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
(6) Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
(7) A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
(8) Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
(9) Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
(10) There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
(11) For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
(12) They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
(13) Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
(14) Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
(15) He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
(16) With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

2Co 12:9-10
(9) And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
(10) Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

The LORD is my deliverer

My escape, the One Who saves us from harm. In this world, but even more from eternal damnation.

2Th 3:3
But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.

Psa 121:7-8
(7) The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
(8) The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

God is my deliverer.

Joh 17:15
(15) I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.

2Ti 4:18
(18) And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

2Pe 2:9
The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

Jud 1:24-25
(24) Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
(25) To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

Go Home and apply verse 2 for your own good.

Psa 18:2 The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

Ask yourself the question – Is God my Rock, Is He my Deliverer?
Talk to your stinking thinking and say, “THE WORD SAYS…”

Jesus said in the midst of the temptation in the desert- “THE WORD SAYS!”.

Sunday Service 9-20-09

People who know their God shall stand firm and prove themselves strong and do exploits.
David did not find his confidence and ability in the sling shot, He relied on God. God had a purpose and a destiny for him. He did not know that he would be a leader of Israel with a bunch of rejects.
God uses people to accomplish His will.

It is not by power, not by might, but by my Spirit says the Lord.

There is a battleground between our thinking and the truth.
When David met Goliath, he knew who he was,
There are a lot of things that God has planned for you, but you don’t have the fight in you because you rely on your own ability.

WITH GOD, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.

Many times the things in your life are beasts that will tear and devour you if you don’t know your God. The devil comes as a roaring lion.

Submit yourself to God, resist the devil and he will flee.

David knew His God and put his life in His hands.
Are there situations in your life that seems to paralyze you? i.e. announcement from a doctor, foreclosure, loss of a job, etc.

We don’t walk by sight; we walk by faith in God. My God loves me, parents me, has loving kindness.

When we are in the boat in the stormy seas, He can calm the storm, or even if He doesn’t calm the storm, He will get us to port.

You have to know the great love that God has for you. Any lions in your life?- we faced them before.
If we are like David, don’t rely on our slingshot- physical, intellectual abilities- rely on God.

Make a decision- stop FEAR IN YOUR LIFE- it will paralyze you.
3 men in the burning fire would not worship the idol. When they were in the fire, they had the greatest spiritual experience because they relied on God without bowing to fear.
When God brought the plagues, God showed that He had power over the idols of Egypt.
When God says it is going to turn out His way, it will turn out His way.

We have to keep our sight on God.
WE WALK NOT BY SIGHT, BUT OUR FAITH IS IN GOD.
David’s heart: God will save me from the lions mouth, from the bear, “you uncircumcised Philistine”
Gold in the fish’s mouth- God met the need.

One of the greatest lions is the NT when Peter fished and caught nothing, then followed Jesus direction to toss the net on the other side (fishing at the wrong time of day after fishing all night to catch a huge amount of fish).

Jesus told Peter how to catch fish- He asked him to use his boat to preach. Jesus was sensitive to Peter- Peter gave his best. He was tired.
“Throw your net on the side”- Peter was questioning, he threw his rotten net, the fish came from nowhere and the nets were filled. The fish were drawn from the drawn to the Master, attracted by the Glory.
Peter had experienced the Lord. He said, “Get away from me. I am a man of unclean lips.”
Jesus prophesied how he would glorify God in His death.

God brings hope where you think there is no hope.

God can do way more than we can imagine or think in our hearts.
There is no such thing as status quo- THINGS CHANGE
If you have faith in what you see, you will have that. Have faith in God instead.

Face the fear, lion, bear, drought, death- God is faithful, by putting your life in His hands.

The Word of God has to be ABSOLUTE, NON-NEGOTIABLE, NON-DEBATABLE IN YOUR LIFE.

If your mind starts denying the truth of God’s Word, you must say, “ SHUT UP, I ARE NOT TALKING TO YOU. These thoughts do not serve me anymore.”

The carnal mind lusts against the Spirit. We must not entertain it. (Consider the miraculous healing of pastor’s son)

Psa 18:2 The LORD is my rock (ledge, cliff, hard for enemies to climb), and my fortress (place of deliverance at all times), and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler (small shield), and the horn(anchor that I can hold onto) of my salvation, and my high tower (overlooking tower on fort- preparing for things of the future).

THESE THOUGHTS DON’T SERVE ME ANYMORE.
WHO ARE YOU LION? BEAR? UNCIRCUMCISED PHILISTINE? TO COME AGAINST THE PEOPLE OF GOD?
(bills, sickness, fear, etc.?)

There is no one who does not have the ability to overcome with God, unless you use stinking thinking. God will not only start something, He will finish it. Tell your mind to shut up. You are not going there anymore.
I can do all things through Christ, which strengthens me
Stop looking at the circumstances.

Live by what the Word says and not what you see!

Sunday Service 9-13-09

God is a savior AND healer
We need to go to God every day and ask Him to heal us of things of the past, including emotional and physical healing
God’s desire is to heal and save more than we realize
It is important to go before the Lord every day for healing and saving in our lives
Go before him daily to just let Him heal

Part 2
God loves us
Love – we desperately need it as much as air and water
God created us in His own likeness and image
He is love, and we are to be love.
We need to concentrate on His love.
We have a capacity and ability to love that the world would just die for
“All we need is love”- that Love is God-
God IS Love (noun), and God loves (action verb).
It is from His own Being.
If we could understand that God loves us, we would not fear. There is no fear in love. Faith works by love.
We question that God loves us daily because we really don’t know Him.
No matter what has happened, God was there. He gave man free will.
The Bible shows over and over again that God is love, always getting us out of the fire.

1Jn 4:8-11
(8) He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
(9) In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
(10) Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
(11) Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

Propitiation – full payment for our sins. Consider the idea of going into a restaurant and not being able to pay- results in arrest, jail, shame, etc.

We are going through life and eating off the menu without looking at the consequences.
The things we do aren’t free. Gossiping, selfishness, egotistic, taking someone’s liberty, - isn’t free
The time to pay comes.
God saw that and paid our bill.
God expects us to love like He loved you. We need to treat others like He treated us.

God’s love toward us in unconditional. His focus is only us.

God loves you- What does that mean?
While we were sinners- God sent His love.

1Jn 4:16
(16) And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

1Jn 3:1
(1) Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

1Jn 3:16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

Like a marriage- to give ourselves totally to the other without any recompense
Love says, “I will cover your sins toward me at all times.”

Love is expressed as an example in a marriage, where a couple gives 100% giving in a marriage and when one is sinned against we are to cover sins of others 100% of the time.

God expects that kind of love toward others at all times.
----------------------------------

We have been told that God loves us for so long that we have become calloused. We can’t be calloused any more. This is a personal quest. You can listen to it over and over again, but we must find out for ourselves.

We must know that when we were going through the worst time of our life, God never left us.

Consider what it is to have your bill paid, without deserving. Our acts of love transform people.

Loving is to give to someone in a covenant way- we are bound to love each other because God is bound to love from His heart.

God will never forsake or abandon us regardless of who we are.

IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT OUR LIFE STORY IS, HE WILL NOT STOP LOVING US.

God is our parent

God loves me from the position as a Father, as Daddy.
Daddy- an intimate position
He is also a mother, having the characteristics emotionally as a female, having the characteristics of a Father-guidance, discipline

Consider the love of the pelican who gives her flesh so that her children can live

God loves us in that kind of manner.

Heb 12:6-8
(6) For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
(7) If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
(8) But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

When reject God’s chastening, we choose to become bastards because we don’t want His guidance. If we resist it, we choose to be a bastard- having no father. Birthed out of wedlock, out of covenant, who is not with God. We have no choice really, because God will always be our Father.
Yet God supports us- in the garden when we chose to serve the devil
God says I love you, I will bring you back to family, but I want you to live the way the family lives.
Now will you allow Him to be Father?

Stop arguing with God. Let Him do what He needs to do.

Pro 3:12
(12) For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.

Rev 3:19
(19) As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

If God loves me, He has a responsibility to me. It is not just feeling. Feelings are ok, but they don’t last when things go bad. We need more than fuzzy feelings, we need absolute assurance.

Stop thinking of God as a provider. Start thinking of Him as a Daddy. He sometimes chastises us so that we don’t go back and get destroyed. Let God be God. Let Him love you. If He loves you let Him chastise you so that you can become the person He has created you to be. He will not destroy us. He will make us, build us up.

Sunday Service 9-6-09

It is God’s intent to save- not condemn
Rom 8:1
(1) There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

His salvation is always there, available to us. All we need to do is reach out. He is always there to save, regardless of our condition.
God does know our condition, where it got its roots, including the past generations- i.e. fear may passed down through the generations.

Psa 43:5
(5) Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.

We are to forget not all his benefits.

Psa 103:2-5
(2) Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
(3) Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
(4) Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
(5) Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

For some reason, God has incorporated man in the salvation message. God is always there to save us. It does not happen over- night in many situations- God knows how long it will take.
God is always there if you reach out and ask for your salvation.
He saves. Why don’t we avail ourselves of the tremendous gift of salvation in our lives?
He can save a bad marriage, finances, job, relationship- He is a God of salvation.

It is important to you to spread the Gospel that God saves .
Are you directly participating in bringing that message to everyone?
If not, it is because you are not availing yourself in your situation in asking God to save you- whatever the situation.

We need to not judge, but go to people and let them know God saves.
The first thing we should do when we see things not right, is pray “GOD, SAVE!”
By watching TV, regardless of the program, you can ask God to save.
We need to ask God to save us in all situations- He is our Savior- it is not a one time deal.
God wants us– more than we can imagine- to know the saving power available to through His Son.
GOD SAVE!- interact, intervene, we will trust in that!
The Church has forgotten the saving power available through all situations.

Watch God’s power move. It does not necessarily mean things will go how we like.
Nothing can separate me from God’s love.

God is a healer.
In the OT, He reveals Himself as Jehovah Rapha.
Does God still heal? His healing is not just for the physical body. We need healing also for our souls, for our broken spirits, for our disappointments
He not only is Savior, but He is a Healer
God has given us charge to bring the healing to others, to bring deliverance.
Let God heal you.

Are you also willing to be His ambassador to bring healing to others?
If Jesus is Savior, He is a healer. That is something that we appropriate by faith. If we bring the message of salvation, the message of healing goes along with it. He is here to heal- spirit, soul, and body.

He is the God of salvation and the God who heals me

Exo 15:26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.

There are requirements- “get to know Me, follow My ways so you don’t get messed up with sin, and let Me heal you.”
Disease= Dis Ease= not being at ease= not being shalom.

Psa 103:3-6
(3) Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
(4) Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
(5) Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
(6) The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.

Psa 147:3 He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

1Pe 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Psa 107:19-21
(19) Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses.
(20) He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
(21) Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

Since God is a Healer- always been, always will be

GOD IS THE HEALER.

Man fell but God is the Healer.
We sin, but God is the Healer.
God is the Healer but we have a responsibility not to change that aspect of Who He is.
We have no right to debate that. He is the Healer. How He heals is up to Him.

Luk 10:30-35
(30) And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.
Leaving the man half dead- on the balance to live or die depending on the situation. We face these people every day. God has chosen us to bring the healing to others
(31) And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
The word priest represents the lowest rank of the priesthood. We have a Christian world out there, and we passed by on the other side. We see people suffering. We never even stop to say “My God heals”. If God is a savior, He heals. When we present the salvation message, we must ask God to bring the healing process to heal what brought him to the situation.
(32) And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side. He looked- saw- and then did everything he could to get on the other side so that he could ignore the whole thing. Don’t overlook the situation, when you can bring healing. There are a lot of hurting people out there. They are going to scratch and get angry with you, as a wounded animal. This world needs healing, and most of the time it will be your brothers and sisters. There is no debate. God heals. Does He heal your way? No. But God heals the best way for the situation. We don’t know what God is going to do. Sometimes it requires an inner healing for God to work.
(33) But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,
Samaritan was a Jew who didn’t follow the rules as in Jerusalem.
He had compassion. We have lost the compassion of mankind. We need to say, “God save. God heal”. All it needs is someone here on the earth to cry out because we have compassion.
(34) And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
He invested his own money. Did the Samaritan owe this man anything? Yes. He owed him love. So he was willing to give of himself.
(35) And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.
The guy got robbed, stripped. Today we would say that we would not help him because we would be sued. He was robbed, stripped, beaten, hanging between life and death. Most of the time people can’t repay. We saw the Levite- a messenger of God- making excuses to go around the situation .

Eze 34:1-4
(1) And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
(2) Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks?
(3) Ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill them that are fed: but ye feed not the flock.
(4) The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up that which was broken, neither have ye brought again that which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty have ye ruled them.

The responsibility, anointing, power is for us who are priests, God’s people, royal priesthood.

Jas 5:14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
Jas 5:15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

Mar 16:17-18
(17) And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
(18) They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

The Gospel of the Kingdom is God is a Savior and God is a Healer.
We have to make a choice this morning because there is a world that is hanging between life and death.

Preach that the Kingdom of God is at hand. God is the healer, but He needs our faith to work on the earth. He needs us. Peter had no silver or gold, But what he had was God, the healer, the deliverer.

Decision making time-
Either take the message and ignore it, or apply it to your life and see wonderful things. We will see wonderful things.
God is making a demand upon us to reconcile man to God, bringing the salvation message that God forgives and heals.
